Indication:
Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that has antibacterial effects on gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by various Gram-negative bacteria (such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella, Salmonella, etc.), Gram-negative bacteria and Staphylococcus aureus (including β-lactamase-producing strains).
Dosage and administration:
For Cattle, Sheep, and Goats:
· Dosage: 2 mg per kg of body weight.
· Administration:Administered intramuscularly (IM) or intravenously (IV) once daily.
For Swine:
· Dosage: 5 mg per kg of body weight.
· Administration:Administered intramuscularly (IM) once daily.
For Horses:
· Dosage:6.6 mg per kg of body weight.
· Administration: Administered intravenously (IV) every 24 hours.
For Dogs and Cats:
· Dosage:4-6 mg per kg of body weight.
· Administration:Administered intramuscularly (IM) or subcutaneously (SC) every 24 hours.
For Poultry:
· Dosage:5-10 mg per kg of body weight.
· Administration: Administered intramuscularly (IM) or via drinking water, depending on the specific condition and veterinarian's guidance.
Precautions:
1.It is contraindicated in animals allergic to gentamicin.
2.Use with caution in animals with impaired kidney or liver function.
3.Follow the dosage and administration instructions carefully. Overdosing or incorrect administration can lead to serious side effects.
4.Store gentamicin injection in a cool, dry place away from light and out of reach of children and animals.

For meat
Cattle, sheep and swine: 40 days.
Poultry: 7 days.
