Indication:
Tiamulin injection 5% is primarily indicated for the treatment and prevention of various bacterial infections in pigs, cattle, and sheep. In pigs, it is used for respiratory infections like enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and pleuropneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, as well as gastrointestinal infections such as swine dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and proliferative enteropathy caused by Lawsonia intracellularis. It also treats other bacterial infections caused by Tiamulin-sensitive organisms. In cattle, Tiamulin is used for respiratory infections including pneumonia caused by Pasteurella and Mycoplasma species, mastitis, and other bacterial infections. In sheep, it is indicated for respiratory infections like pneumonia caused by Pasteurella and Mycoplasma species, foot rot, and other bacterial infections caused by Tiamulin-sensitive organisms.
Dosage and administration:
For Cattle and Sheep:
· Dosage: 10 mg of Tiamulin per kg of body weight, typically equivalent to 1 mL of Tiamulin 10% injection per kg of body weight.
· Frequency: Once daily, for 3-5 days.
· Administration: Deep intramuscular injection.
For Swine:
· Dosage: 10-15 mg of Tiamulin per kg of body weight, typically equivalent to 1-1.5 mL of Tiamulin 10% injection per kg of body weight.
· Frequency: Once daily, for 3-5 days.
· Administration: Deep intramuscular injection.
Precautions:
1.Avoid use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Tiamulin or other macrolide antibiotics.
2.Use with caution in animals with impaired liver or kidney function.
3.Tiamulin should not be used concurrently with ionophore antibiotics (such as monensin, salinomycin, lasalocid, etc.)
4.Store tiamulin injection in a cool, dry place away from light and out of reach of children and animals.

For Cattle and Sheep: 28 days
